After working with RoR for a while and completing a few smaller projects I realized how easy it would be to create a full-featured, easy-to-modify piece of forum software using RoR. The eventual goal of this project is to mimic punbb's simplicity and ease of configuration while adding several core features that were absent from punbb- namely private messages, image uploads, and a host of others.
